Are you ready for some... There is nothing more I enjoy than the weekend mornings on our veranda with my husband and three pups. This is our time to sip coffee and catch up on our week and play with the dogs in the yard. Recently one of our conversations drifted to the topic of Fall and the beautiful yellow and orange leaves that will soon hang from our trees. Fall in our house (well I shall say most of our community) is SEC Football and ALTA Fall tennis. Fall to me is the gathering of friends for laughs, good food, warm apple cider and beautiful fall décor. The definition of décor is: “a decorative style or scheme of a room.” In my opinion though, décor is more than that. It is the sum total of an event made up by beautiful linens, drapery, floral designs, table settings and so much more. One of the many things I’ve learned through working on this fantastic magazine is that décor is not only for weddings and over the top special events, but for backyard parties, tailgating and tennis matches, too.
