Supporting the NY Jets and Giants Pre-Season Opener EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Army National Guard Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 258th Field Artillery’s Headquarters Battery, Battery A and Battery B were on hand during the preseason exhibition game opener at Meadowland Stadium on Aug. 16, to assist displaying the American Flag on the field alongside military personnel from the active Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. The military servicemen and women appeared before a crowd of more than 80,000 fans who later watched the Giants "Big Blue" defeat the Jets "Gang Green" 3116. Photo by 1st Lt.
