Hey there, Wow, another year gone. It has been a privilege to serve as your 2017-18 District Editor. Not only did I get to see what amazing things you did all year long but I got to share it with the entire district. You made my fall in love with Circle K and reminded me why I joined the KFamily in the first place. Whether you are graduating or transitioning into a new role, remember that you have made a difference in someone’s life. No matter how small you think the deed was. You will always have a place in Circle K, it is a place for you to forget about all the everyday stresses, and a place to make life long friendships. Thank you for an amazing year! I can’t wait to see what we accomplish next year! With that I am signing off as your 2017-18 District Editor, it has been a pleasure. Editor Elect Hey Circle K’ers! What an incredible opportunity it is to be able to serve as your 2018-2019 District Editor. Circle K is one of my favorite organizations, the Kiwanis family is responsible for much of my personal development. It is a privilege to serve in a position where I might be able to contribute back to such a great organization. I am a Senior at RIT majoring in Software Engineering with a minor in Psych. I’m originally from Pennsylvania, but now you can primarily find me wandering around Upstate New York. I like traveling, eating, sleeping, writing, reading, and running. And of course one of my favorite hobbies is service and volunteering! I have a vision for our publications: That they could fill a key role in ensuring that everyone knows what Circle K is about. People need to know what our club is made of. And so, my focus as district editor will be ensuring that all our publications are written by members and are released with a focus on marketing, ensuring that we receive strong readership. The member is truly the most important figure in Circle K, and I am excited to be able to meet as many members as possible. I am excited to meet our incoming club editors - I’m confident that we will produce a strong newsletter for the District. I look forward to the new service year and I can’t wait to see what we will accomplish. Governor Elect Hey NYCKI, My name is Ryan Coffey and I am honored to serve as your District Governor for this upcoming service year. I am a proud City College Beaver, and apart of the Liberty Division. I have been in the Kiwanis Family for 10 years, and it has been the most pleasurable experience in my life. My favorite part of Circle K, is meeting members from across the district, college students interested, motivated and dedicated to serving and making a difference. I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you, and working alongside you to bring our district to new heights. Whether you are a new member, or have been apart of many years, we have a lot of opportunities for you to grow as a person and leader. Throughout my term, I want to bring more focus on YOU and your members. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if there is anything I can do for you to help you. Invite me to your events, your service projects, and your club meetings. I will do my best to learn more about you and your clubs, and work hard to serve them.
