UNDERSTANDING AND SUPPORTING YOUR COLLEGE STUDENT Northwestern Room 202

Undergraduate schools will host an event for family weekend registrants. If desired, family members may go to the designated meeting point in Norris University Center by 1:15 p.m. to be escorted to the event location by a student leader. Bienen School of Music (BSM): Rather than a formal meeting, family members are invited to attend various ensemble rehearsals throughout the afternoon (outside of the 1:30-2:30 p.m. time period). McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science (MEAS): Q&A session in Ryan Auditorium at the Technological Institute with Dean Carr Meeting Point: Northwestern Room 202, Norris Medill School of Journalism: A brief presentation and discussion with select faculty and staff members in McCormick Tribune Center 3-119 Meeting point: Wildcat Room 101, Norris School of Communication (SoC): The Dean will speak briefly; mingle with select faculty and staff at Wallis Theatre Meeting point: Big Ten Room 104, Norris School of Education and Social Policy (SESP): An open house and conversation with select faculty and staff will be hosted in the Student Life office on the first floor of Annenberg Hall Meeting Point: Arch Room 206, Norris Weinberg College of Arts and Science (WCAS): Join the Dean and her colleagues for refreshments and conversation. OFFICE OF STUDY ABROAD INFORMATION SESSION Lake Room 203 Each year, hundreds of Northwestern students participate in study abroad programs around the world. This session will provide insight into the process and possibilities of studying abroad. INFORMATION SESSION FOR FAMILIES OF STUDENTS CONSIDERING FRATERNITY AND SORORITY RECRUITMENT/INTAKE Wildcat Room 101 Learn more about the fraternity and sorority community at Northwestern. Current students and staff will highlight community values, recruitment, and activities in this discussion.
