Comparing him to a steak and sausage shop will be tough, so i’m not going to do it. instead, i’ll let arroyo grande Meat Company owner Henry gonzalez do the talking: “i don’t know of any place more expensive, but if you get a hold of one of our steaks, you know it. Our signature is in the flavor.” Some people think all meats are the same, and that the only thing worth shopping for is price, but gonzalez disagrees. His crew handles meat from the first slaughter to the final cut (to each customer’s individual preference) with a dedication to quality throughout the process. they also serve sandwiches! —Nick
