The soft water also created a savings on laundry soap, and with that many children, that savings was significant to Velma. Ivan was determined to run his new business with the same vigor and energy he had while growing up on farms in southern Iowa and northern Missouri. He knew the one
thing he could offer was fair and honest prices and durable equipment. Today, the third generation of Cunnings is proud to run the oldest continuously family-run water-treatment dealer in Northwest Missouri. “Today, Water Doctor is poised to continue to provide the very best in water conditioning for another 45 years,� Mr. Cunning says. Larry and his sons are following the same work ethic as his parents. Larry II & Michael have both achieved Level 1 certification, through the Water Quality Association. They plan to achieve the same Level 6 certification as their father and grandfather. They have set the wheels in motion for continued progress to 2066.
