Greetings from Notre Dame Prep! I write to you today from a much different place than any of us could have ever imagined. I, like you, remain in at home. The gala is an event I look forward to, and I very much miss celebrating with you at what would have been our Roaring Twenties Gala. THE ARTIST by C.R.P. The sky is God’s great canvas, On which He Paints each day, A new and beautiful picture,To help us on our way. He Studies the palette carefully, To choose a shade of blue. Then splashes it across the sky, And adds a cloud or two. Some days He sends the rain, To wash the canvas clean, Then wipes out all His brushes, So a rainbow can be seen. Dark blue or velvet black, He uses for the sky at night, Then daubs in each tiny star, And a moon to give us 1ight. The sunrise and the sunset, He paints with special care, For each one is a masterpiece, A thing of beauty rare. All these lovely paintings, Are there for us to see, And the wonder of it is, They are given to us free. How many really see them, As we go about our way, Looking for beauty elsewhere, When it’s there for us each day.
