WHO WE ARE Dries Le Roux Konstruksie is a team of highly qualified and experienced building contractors who specialise in residential builds and renovations. We are a family-run, proudly local Hermanus business, with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. From our humble beginnings in 1998, when our founder Dries and his wife Cyrilene first came to Hermanus with a caravan and one house to build, we have transformed into a thriving business, now under the leadership of Dries’ son, Mario. We pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our clients, evidenced by the fact that our very first client, Koena Koen, eventually joined us in 2005 and remained part of the team until his retirement in 2015.

WHAT WE DO We specialise in construction and renovations of residential properties. While we keep our core team small, we have built relationships with key suppliers and contractors that enable us to construct and renovate any size residential property. Some of the services we offer include:

I have no regrets about this renovation. The architectural designer Nicolette Lloyd ma (rca) did the planning and design and recommended Dries Le Roux Konstruksie to do the work. Renovations can be traumatic and you need the architect and construction company to give personalised attention and skilled professional workmanship to achieve this fabulous result. From our management team to our ground staff, we bring our combined knowledge, skills and experience to every job site, giving you the best service and workmanship on offer. Mario holds a National Higher Diploma in Industrial Engineering, as well as over 25 years’ experience in the industry. Nico, our Site Manager, has worked in the building industry for close to 9 years and Josef, our Site Foreman, has over 20 years of experience on the job. All of our construction crew members have honed their individual skills to expert level and take great pride in their work. But it is not just our skills and experience that make us the best. It is our attitude and work ethic, our team spirit and positive, solution-driven approach to any situation that is at the core of everything we do.

OUR MANAGEMENT Our management team is led by Mario le Roux, Owner and Project Manager. He is supported by Nico Volschenk as Site Manager and Josef Swart as Site Foreman. Mario’s wife Marelie helps to keep the business on track, looking after Adminstration and Human Resources.
