#1 Fear Public Speaking

More than Dying!

Survey after survey ranks Public Speaking as the Number 1. More than Dying! Jerry Seinfeld: People give the option at a funeral would rather be in the box than give the eulogy!

BTW Public Speaking = Presentations = Speeches = Giving Talks = Speaking, etc.

I talked to someone at AB. Said they never did Public Speaking or gave Speeches, but did make a lot of Presentations.

WHY SPEAK? Improves one-on-one communication and small groups. Good for business. Perception is you始re an expert. Improve self-esteem. The research shows when we get out of comfort zone and make it wider.

MY GOAL The goal of all communication: written, visual or spoken - is the same. We want the recipient(s), as quickly as possible, to “GET IT!” They may not agree with everything. They may not agree with anything. But, unless the “GET IT!”, there canʼt be a meaningful conversation going forward
