The Journey by BADAC Theatre Company

This fearless, intense and immersive theatre production focuses on the experiences of refugees from across the globe. With a cast that includes refugees from Norwich, some facing an uncertain future in the UK, The Journey tells of the emotional, psychological and physical effects experienced by those forced to flee their homes. “The visceral power of Badac’s work is extremely rare” Steven Berkoff Supported by New Routes. Caravan: 50th Anniversary Tour + Guranfoe

Come and celebrate 50 years of Caravan! Formed in Canterbury UK in 1968, they rose to success in the 1970s as a part of the Canterbury scene, blending psychedelic rock and jazz to create a distinctive sound. They continue to tour the world and remain a much-loved live act.

Accompanied by a single record turntable, artist and writer Robin Deacon shares a collection of stories, lectures and possible dance routines. From describing his childhood fear of Joy Division album covers, to the contemporary search for an obscure record of Caribbean folk songs featuring the voice of his mother, Robin takes the audience on an autobiographical journey through music. A collaborative Diverse Actions event between Norwich Arts Centre, Colchester Arts Centre and Cambridge Junction.
