ANNUAL AUCTION SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Silent & Super Silent Auction Opens 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 27 Silent Auction Closes 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30 Super Silent Closes 8 p.m. Saturday, April 30 Raffle Ticket Drawing 8:15 p.m. Saturday, April 30 This will be drawn in-person during the live auction. You do not have to be present to win. Winners will be notified. Live Auction Opens (in-person bidding only) 8:15 p.m. Saturday, April 30 Live Auction Closes 9:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30

Check Out When the silent and live auctions close, bidders will receive a text message if they are the winning bidder on any item. Please follow the link to review your invoice and complete payment.

AUCTION RULES & GUIDELINES

1. Starting at noon on Wednesday, April 27, text “MYSTERY” to 71760. You will receive a text message that prompts you to register. Once registered, you will be able to view and bid on items in the auction. You must pre-register a credit card to view the items. If you are a winning bidder, you will be able to change that card prior to payment. 2. Bidders may sort silent auction items by categories (Kids, Home & Garden, Men & Women and Entertainment). 3. All silent auction items will close at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. 4. Winning bidders will receive a link to check out at the end of the auction window. At this point, winning bidders will be able to review their payment information. If this step is not completed, the card on file will be charged no later than Tuesday, May 3. 5. For troubleshooting, please contact the development office at 757.480.2348. Staff will be available from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. 6. Items may be picked up at the middle and upper school on April 30 after the auction for in-person bidders and Monday, May 2, from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and Tuesday, May 3, through Friday, May 6, from 2-4 p.m. for online bidders. • Items may not be sent home with your children. • Proof of payment must be shown to collect your items. • Please contact the Development Office to arrange for pick up of larger items at 757.480.2348. 7. Unless specified, all certificates must be redeemed within one year. 8. All sales are final. There will be no exceptions or refunds on items except when specified. No cash refunds will be given for any reason. 9. Any follow-up questions and arrangements with live auction items/ packages should be directed to Lil Acosta, associate director of annual giving & special events, at lacosta@norfolkcollegiate.org. 10. Norfolk Collegiate and the contributors are not responsible for authenticity or defect in any item and make no warranty in connection with any item. Any school liability for auction items ceases with the purchase.



CLASS BASKETS & PROJECTS Thank you to our Parent Ambassadors with the guidance of Amy Cushman and Teresa Ordell and Becky Tillson, co-chairs for organizing these baskets. LOWER SCHOOL PROJECT “A KALEIDOSCOPE OF DIVERSITY” Enjoy this beautiful piece that highlights flower petals colored by each 2021-22 lower school student and then put together as a collage and framed in a shadow box.

KINDERGARTEN Enjoy local wine from wineries including King Family Vineyard, Jefferson Vineyards and more! We have brews from breweries across Virginia as well as some special treats from local, small businesses.

FIRST GRADE | PAMPERED PUP BASKET Pups of Norfolk Collegiate, are you depressed your family is back to “normal life,” leaving you home alone all day? Do you feel you need a bump in your grooming game? Tired of the same old, busted squeaky toy? Tell your families to bid, bid, bid on the First Grade’s Pampered Pup basket! The basket has tons of exciting toys, gourmet treats, prime grooming supplies and a big gift card from PetSmart to make your humans happy!


FIRST GRADE | CATS OF COLLEGIATE BASKET Cats of Norfolk Collegiate, send your family to bid on your behalf for this fantastic kitty bed packed with treats and toys! It even comes with a $50 gift PetSmart gift card for your humans to buy even more of your favorite things!

SECOND GRADE | “REACH FOR THE STARS” This one-of-a-kind piece will be one you want hanging in your homes for years to come! Second grade students spent time tracing their hands and adding their own flair to each hand on this beautifully designed artwork. Thank you to Emily Franklin, second grade parent, for designing and laying out this project! THIRD GRADE | “FAMILY GAME NIGHT” Family game night just got better with this basket that includes a variety of cards and games for all ages! Games include Monopoly, Speak Out, Trouble, Guess Who?, Jenga, UNO and more! It also includes snacks and popcorn for the kids and a bottle of wine for the adults!

FOURTH GRADE | “GO GREEN WITH FOURTH GRADE” The Class of 2030 cares about the environment and the future of the earth and wants you to “Go Green!” In this basket, you will find high-quality items that are green and clean to include shopping totes, silicone snack bags, tea towels imprinted with student, hand-drawn art and much more!

FIFTH GRADE | “OAKOPOLY” Inspired by fifth grade parent, Emily Franklin, the fifth grade presents a beautifully crafted 36’x36’ mixed media “Oakopoly” on canvas. This wonderful piece of art is sure to bring lasting memories to any home for many years to come!

GRADES 6-8 | SOLO STOVE & S’MORES WITH COLLEGIATE This package includes a SOLO stove with stand, stove accessories, two blue YETI’s, firewood, fire starter, two Norfolk Collegiate chairs, blankets, Norfolk Collegiate Tervis tumblers, coffee mugs and all of the ingredients to make delicious s’mores!
