Summer Workshops
Share the Harvest Fundraiser

From first-time gardeners to professional growers and livestock producers, the NOFA Summer Workshop Series has something for everyone! This year’s schedule includes workshops on growing fruit, backyard season extension, and flood and drought resiliency.
Have a great meal and support a great cause! On October 4, participating restaurants and stores donate a portion of their sales to NOFA Vermont’s Farm Share Program, providing farm-fresh food from community supported agriculture (CSA) farms to families and senior citizens with limited incomes. Make it a point to shop and eat out at some of the 80+ participating locations and help us share the harvest! 38th Annual Summer Conference August 10–12, 2012 University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA Keynote Speakers: Representative Chellie Pingree and Jeffrey Smith The annual conference for all seven state NOFA chapters, with 200 workshops on organic farming, gardening and land care, homesteading, sustainability, nutrition, spirituality, and food politics; special workshops designed for kids and teens; music and dance; and an old-fashioned Country Fair and farmers’ market.
31st Annual Winter Conference February 16–17, 2013 University of Vermont, Burlington Our annual Winter Conference features two full days of gardening, farming and sustainable living workshops, two keynote addresses, a trade show, and a children’s conference.
