to the health services they need to stay in their own homes and avoid entry into a nursing facility. • MS Activists responded to action alerts by emailing and calling their representatives to encourage them to approve the funding. At the time the funding was being considered, there were more than 25,000 Louisianans, many living with MS, on the waiting list, but our coalition was successful in securing the funding for an additional 500 slots in the program.
