General Information 2011 BP MS 150 Schedule The 2011 BP MS 150 starts at 6:45 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at Tully Stadium for the top Houston and Austin fundraising teams. Other teams and individual cyclists start at 7 a.m. Cyclists and teams leave from Rhodes Stadium Start at 6:45 a.m. Site opens at 5 a.m. Cyclists and teams leave Waller Stadium Start at 8 a.m. Site opens at 7 a.m. The route/ride closes at 6:30 p.m. Saturday for your Overnight Home on the Range at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange. Day Two begins at 7 a.m. Sunday, April 17, in La Grange from the Fayette County Fairgrounds and Camp St. Mark’s and ends at the Capitol in Austin. The ride officially closes at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. On Days 1 and 2, if you are still cycling at 6:30 p.m. you will be transported to the Finish Line. Fundraiser Benefits Texans with MS The BP MS 150 is a fundraiser to support MS research and client programs for more than 24,000 Texans with MS. Each rider is required to raise at least the minimum pledge of $400. Riders are responsible for collecting all pledges. The Society encourages you to keep a record of all your pledges in a secure, organized folder. $400 minimum pledge is due Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Riders have until July 31 to fundraise for prizes. Safety and Courtesy The BP MS 150 annually attracts thousands of participants of all ages, backgrounds and cycling expertise. The vast majority are recreational cyclists, spurred to make a difference in the ongoing fight against multiple sclerosis. The BP MS 150 is not a race. It is an organized fund-raising bicycle ride to benefit people living with MS. Safety on the route is paramount. In a large field of riders from various cycling backgrounds, all participants must practice friendly, courteous and safe cycling etiquette from start to finish. Everyone in the 2010 BP MS 150 is united toward one goal: bike to create a world .free of MS.

Required Signed Waiver Forms Each rider must bring a signed Waiver Form to a Packet Pick-Up to receive a 2011 Rider Packet. Riders under the age of 18 must have a Waiver Form signed by a parent or guardian, have it NOTARIZED and submit it with their parent/guardian at the SAME Packet Pick-Up. Notary Services available at all Packet Pick-Ups. Minimum age to ride is 12 years old by April 16, 2011. Use the Waiver Form from this Guide or download from the Web site. AUSTIN: Friday Bus Transportation For an additional fee of $35, BP MS 150 participants may ride a bus from Austin to Houston on Friday, April 15. Purchase ONLIINE in advance. Bikes are wrapped and transported separately in moving vans. Park your private vehicle in Garage B located at 15th & Trinity. Proceed to the Bus Depot at that same location. Participants are responsible for loading their own luggage on the Houston-bound bus. Austin riders can claim their bikes with their rider number at Tully Stadium Saturday morning, April 16.

When claiming a bike, each rider must show his or her Rider Number. Shuttle Buses Free shuttle buses are available from the Omni Westside Hotel and Crowne Plaza Park Row to Tully Stadium Saturday morning and in La Grange to and from showers, area hotels and off-site event parking.
