WBB POLL INFORMATION Every week, each Regional Director , or designee, shall report results/records to their Sectional Director who is responsible for ranking teams in their section . All results must be reported to the National Office by 10 am MST the Tuesday immediately prior to each poll day. The Sectional Directors will vote on a Top 20 which will be released to the public via njcaa.org by 1 pm MST on the poll date.

2011-2012 DII Tournament Information All 16 teams/districts will be seeded a week prior to the start of the tournament by the sectional directors in conjunction with the NJCAA National Office. Should a member of the seeding committee coach a team participating in the tournament, that individual shall be excluded from the seeding process. In no particular order, seeding will be determined on the basis of: 1. Regional placement in the previous season’s national tournament. 2. Strength of Region/District 3. National Poll 4. Overall/JUCO record

Monroe College (N.Y.) capped a thrilling run to its first NJCAA women's basketball national title at the Division II level with a 78-74 win over topseed Pima (Ariz.). Monroe was the #11 seed in the 16-team tournament field. The Lady Mustangs were able to force 25 Pima turnovers which they turned into 35 points. Shanee Williams led Monroe with 17 points, five rebounds, five assists and was named Tournament MVP. The Lady Mustangs now have three national titles in their program history.
