The library shown above represents the human genome (all our genetic information). The spaceship represents the human phenome (our entire body, including our brain). We cannot really imagine how extensive a library would have to be if it were to specify the fictional S.S. Phenome - complete with warp-speed engines and a holodeck. Wouldn’t it have to be much larger than the Library of Congress? Yet it can be reasonably argued that a human is still more complex than a hypothetical S.S. Phenome (what type of starship could reproduce itself?).
