01_AIR - artificial intelligence research center project 2023 – office building typology Inspired by my study trip in Taiwan, the artificial research center in Taipei seamlessly extends Shi Chien University, blending innovation with accessibility. Its modern design, featuring a distinctive curved roof, symbolizes openness and connectivity to the surrounding landscape. The ground floor houses a dynamic exhibition space, inviting the public to engage with cutting-edge technology. Situated on a scenic hill opposite the center, a recreational area offers leisure and sports facilities for both researchers and the community. A walkway through adjacent woods connects the center to this hilltop space, emphasizing its commitment to sustainability and integration with nature. The center serves as a beacon of collaboration, innovation, and public engagement in the heart of Taipei. 6

CONSTRUCTION
The roof is cleverly linked to the building’s cores. By pulling down weights on each side, it stays perfectly balanced. The beams are optimized designed, following the curve of the roof for efficiency. The outer layer, or facade, is like a thin skin dropping down lightly from the roof. 16

01_NEST at Heumarkt Studio Hochbau 2021 – mulitfunctional building typology
On the site of the Vienna Ice Skating Club, a center is to be created that blends into the surroundings and is to be considered a multifunctional building next to the Vienna Ice Skating Club, which will remain in place. For this purpose, the construction site will be spatially connected to the opposite Beethovenplatz by diverting the traffic of Lothringerstraße. A new structure upgrades the resulting square and provides additional space for educational purposes as well as a multi-purpose hall in the basement and the ice skating club itself. The glass double-skin façade opens the building towards the ice rink.

02_Productive City urban planning project 2022
Every surface has resources. Solar energy, harvested rainwater and the ground itself can be used. As a climate-friendly public transportations, trains and the associated tracks are a major component of our future city. Nevertheless, only a fraction of their presence is actively used by the trains themselves. Through the construction of the Green Line, the resources of the rail surface can be stored and utilized within a second level.

CONSTRUCTION Depending on the existing urban situation, a collection of various modules, like production by themselve or modules of vertical farming and public space areas, can be used. Public space areas can be covered with a flexible ETFE panel construction, which can be opened or closed depending on current weather conditions. Viewing boxes placed on top can provide users in densely populated ares an escape from the city. GSEducationalVersion

New and efficient ways of food production, such as vertical farming, can counteract current problems of scarcity by cultivating vertically in addition to large-scale fields. 04_MUSIC HUB Studio Wohnbau 2022 – Wohnen und Produktion Welcome to The Music HUB, an architectural masterpiece that harmoniously blends living and production spaces, redefining the conventional boundaries of creative environments. The building is a sanctuary where artists converge to meet, connect, and immerse themselves in a multifaceted experience that seamlessly integrates both residence and artistic production. Beyond the studios, the building offers a vibrant community space where artists can come together, share ideas, and fuel their creative spirits. The architecture becomes a facilitator of connections, with shared collaborative areas designed to amplify the sense of community within The Music HUB. 48

Due to the double L character of the residential building, the depth of the building site is exploited. The resulting space in between provides transparency. The development is placed on the north-west side of each building, so that the surrounding terracing is oriented to the south-east. The apartments are flooded with sunlight during the day. By setting off part A and moving the apartments inwards, a feeling of lightness is conveyed. The diamond-shaped openings at the interior corners of the building components provide the main access into the Music HUB, which is open to the top floor. The placement of the stairs as well as the seating steps and the open design of the 1st floor invites passers-by from the direction of Felberstraße. The openings on the first floor create an exciting visual relationship with the Music HUB below. Visitors are thus able to watch the artists one floor below from street level.

05_ VELUM - pavillon structural engineering project 2022 Monoquoce Structures with Duks Koschitz, professor at the Pratt Institute Pavilion Karlsplatz Wien The design Velum (lat.: the veiling), located on the Karlsplatz, is intended to function as an information meet point on the current critical situation in Iran. The basic idea of this project lies in the study to design a sustainable and lightweight structure with origami derived folds. Using the load-bearing capacity of curved folded structures for stiffening, modules are created that are multiplied and mirrored into one another.
