The LCFAAC Officers Installation Ceremony was held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the New Bethel A.M.E. Zion Church in Fayetteville, NC conducted by The LC National Alumni President, Rev. On July 26, 2014 the LCFAAC hosted our 1st Prospective Students and Parents Reception. Ms. Carman Wilder, Alumni Relations Assistant Vice President for Development and Mr. Tony Baldwin, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management were present for the event. Resourceful information was presented. Food and door prizes were available for participants.

Presenting . . . Style, Elegance, and Purpose This Fundraiser was held on Saturday, September 27, 2014.

The Fellowship/Vendor Expo began at 2:00 and the Hat Competition Program began at 3:00 PM at the N ew Bethel PH Church Multi-Purpose Building 1065 Progress St. Fayetteville, North Carolina 28306 Winners: 1st Place – Mrs. Viola Bautista 2nd Place – Rev. On November 1st 2014 the Livingstone College Fayetteville Area Alumni and Sandhills Alumni Chapters jointly

supported our Livingstone College Athletic Department by distributing Gatorade and Bananas to the LC Football Team during their visit to Fayetteville, NC to play the Broncos at Fayetteville State University. Also a lite Snack Pack with hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, cake, water, and drinks was prepared for the Band, Cheerleaders,

2015 New and Prospective Students and Parents Reception

This event was hosted by the Livingstone College Fayetteville Area Alumni Chapter

The Annual Reception was held at the Hope Mills Branch Library, Hope Mills, NC. An information table was set up for students and parents by the Livingstone College Associate Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, Mr. Tony Baldwin. He was our special guest and motivator for the event. Mr. Baldwin shared volumes of information and responded to many questions that related to enrollment, scholarships, programs, etc. Lite refreshments were served and door prizes were available for participants.

This wonderful banquet fellowship was held on May 30, 2015 at the Hope Mills Recreation Center, Hope Mills, NC. Kind and encouraging Greetings were given by City Councilmen Bishop Larry Wright, Mr. Charles Evans and Livingstone College Director of Advancement Service, Ms. Candice Johnson. An electrified message was delivered by the President of the Livingstone College National Alumni Association, Rev. William Simmons. Mr. Warren Arrington, LCNAA Vice President-Elect and Mr. Marshall Jackson, LCNAA Treasurer-Elect graced us with their presence. The New Hope Praise Trio and Soloist Ms. Sommore Terry Performed such moving and soul felt music. One of the most powerful and awesome creative Praise Dance performance by Mrs. Michele Spears completely stole our imagination. We enjoyed our delightful guests, delicious food, prizes, and all other entertainment and participants. Most importantly and appreciative was the diligent team work of our Livingstone College Fayetteville Area Alumni Chapter. LCFAAC truly represented well and proudly stood out with that “Blue Bear Pride’. The atmosphere was full of Family, Fun, Faith and Friends. Our scholarship recipients will be announced in a later issue of our Chapter News Update by our Scholarship Committee.
