Each year Antonio Cacace of Wellington-based Italian retailer, La Bella Italia, takes a tour group to his hometown of Massa Lubrense on Italy’s Sorrento Peninsula.

Here they meet local producers: makers of limoncello and olive oil, butchers, bakers, and some local characters.

Antonio takes them to markets for fresh fruit and vegetables still warm from the sun, and they dine al fresco while enjoying the region’s wines.
