PRIDE POINTS:

• Nicholls is the only public institution in the state to offer bachelor’s degrees in culinary arts and geomatics. • Eight out of 10 nurses and four out of five teachers in the Bayou Region are Nicholls graduates. • Home to 21 Steinway pianos, Nicholls is the first public Louisiana university to be designated as an “All-Steinway School.” • The Nicholls College of Business Administration offers the country’s only maritime management degree concentration funded and developed by industry leaders. • Nicholls holds Louisiana’s only Federal Aviation Administration permit to operate drones for research. • Since 1974, Nicholls has given away more than 170,000 pounds of crawfish to students at its annual Crawfish Day. • For five consecutive years, G.I. Jobs magazine has designated Nicholls as a Military Friendly School. • Nicholls has been ranked the safest public university in Louisiana. • Nicholls is home to the Louisiana Center for Dyslexia and Related Learning Disorders, which provides services to students with dyslexia. • Each spring, Nicholls hosts the award-winning Louisiana Swamp Stomp Festival, which attracts thousands of visitors from across the country. • Archie, Peyton and Eli Manning visit the Nicholls campus each summer, where they host the Manning Passing Academy.
