Is your flat ready to roll? There’s less than two weeks before our new rubbish and recycling service kicks-off from 31 August and we want to make sure you and your flatmates are ready to roll. By now, you should have received your new wheelie bins plus a food scraps bin and have them stored safely on your property. To help you get the hang of what goes in each bin head to fightthelandfill.co.nz and play our Recycling Champion game. The yellow wheelie bin is for paper, cardboard, plastics, tins and cans, the red wheelie bin is for rubbish, the green bin is for food scraps and your recycling crate will be for glass only. You can also download the free app Antenno from the App Store or Google Play to receive collection day notifications – we’ll even remind you what bins to put out each week.
