EVA THRON Director/Regizor Eva Thron has a degree in sociology and political science. She has been an assistant to a number of documentary productions in Berlin. She began her studies in film directing at the Film and Television University (HFF) “Konrad Wolf” in 2007, and she directed a number of documentaries, among which: Nobody Knows (2004), Angola’s Brown Gold (2007), 40 Square Metres (2008), Football for Hope (2010). The Fur is her first fiction film. At the moment she is still studying. Eva Thron are o diplomă în sociologie şi ştiinţe politice. A fost asistentă la câteva producţii de documentare în Berlin. Şi-a început studiile în regie de film în 2007, la HFF „Konrad Wolf“ şi a regizat un număr de documentare, printre care: Nobody Knows (2004), Angola’s Brown Gold (2007), 40 Square Metres (2008), Football for Hope (2010). Blana este primul ei film de ficţiune. În momentul de faţă încă îşi continuă studiile.

Ljuba and Wolfgang – a Russian-German couple in East Berlin. Disillusion, existential concerns, and Ljuba falls in love with a fur. A crazy wish in an inappropriate situation. But for her, the fur isn’t just a piece of clothing. It is the symbol of a home, with all the warmth, passion and confidence that she needs. Ljuba şi Wolfgang – o rusoaică şi un neamţ, împreună, în Berlinul de Est. Deziluzie, probleme existenţiale, iar Ljuba se îndrăgosteşte de o haină de blană. O dorinţă nebunească într-o situaţie inadecvată. Însă pentru ea, blana nu e doar o haină. Este simbolul unei case, cu toată căldura, pasiunea şi încrederea de care are nevoie.
Philipp Witt was born in 1984 in Berlin. After a succession of internships with various postproduction film companies, he started studying sound at the HFF “Konrad Wolf” in 2007. Since then he has worked on numerous projects, from documentary to animation and fiction film. He is also working on several music projects, e.g. the award-winning percussion band frieddrums. At the moment he is graduating. Philipp Witt s-a născut în 1984 la Berlin. După ce a urmat câteva stadii de internship la mai multe companii de postproducţie, şi-a început studiile în domeniul sound designului la HFF „Konrad Wolf“ în 2007. De atunci, a lucrat la numeroase proiecte, de la documentar, la filme de animaţie şi de ficţiune. Lucrează, de asemenea, la câteva proiecte legate de muzică, de exemplu, împreună cu premiata formaţie de percuţie frieddrums. În prezent, se află în curs de absolvire a studiilor.
