GrenzEcho: Renewal is a tradition. Since 1945, the newspaper GrenzEcho has about every five years undergone a redesign. In 2012, again a greater content and design revision has been made.

Background: Since summer 2012, the newspaper has two editors-in-chief: Heinz Gensterblum and Lutz Bernhardt. “We don‘t see this relaunch as a finished process. Improving the content and design of the newspaper is an ongoing task in the service of the reader.” says Lutz Bernhardt. Another new feature is “The Page Four”: It reflects the concept to position the most important story of the day on a full page. Heinz Gensterblum: „This story can be told in the form of a report or a long interview.“ Another new feature is that the topics for this page come from all departments of the newspaper.

About the Newspaper: 3 GrenzEcho has a circulation of 11.500 copies. (Wikipedia 2012) 3 The newspaper was founded in 1927 and is published in German language in Eupen, Belgium. 3 The newspaper is published in the Berliner format.
