To accomplish this mission, Foodlink has implemented a strategy of providing jobs, preventing hunger and training for the future.

Foodlink, and its partner agencies, feed approximately 100,000 hungry people in Sacramento County each month.

Foodlink’s truck driving School is made up of classroom work, community service within Foodlink’s warehouses, a hands-on driving internship with Foodlink’s drivers, and job applicant assistance. the School costs $227 which includes mandatory drug test, physical, and license fees. FRANCIS HOUSE CENTER 1422 C STREET • SACRAMENTO, CA 95814 • (916) 443-2646 Francis House Center is a vibrant haven for Sacramento’s homeless community. Francis House serves as a beacon of hope for many homeless individuals, treating them with respect and dignity from the moment they arrive at the center. Each individual meets with a volunteer one-on-one to ensure all of their needs are met and their privacy is respected. Programs at Francis House include providing assistance to meet the basic needs of individuals, emergency shelter, mentoring, career development, and connecting and educating individuals about other resources in the area.

• 19”–25” flat screen monitors for the Job Development Center • Hygiene items for clients: shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap and lotion, deodorant, razors, diapers, feminine products and small bottles of sunscreen • Coffee, tea and paper cups
