This sweet, gentle giant is Odin! Odin is a 10-yearold shepherd/Labrador mix who is looking for a home to live out his golden years. If you were to visit Berkshire Humane Society, it’s not uncommon to see him waiting at the front desk to greet you with a smile and tail wags. He currently weighs in at 125 pounds, but desperately needs to lose weight. Odin has a condition called hypothyroidism which has contributed to his weight gain. He is on a special medication which along with exercise should help with his weight loss journey. Odin should do short, frequent walks throughout the day and would potentially also benefit from swim therapy. Odin would be suitable to live with a cat, respectful children, and a doggie friend who just wants a buddy to hang out with.
