Course - First Aid Awareness
Provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills to be able to manage an emergency situation. This course complies with the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981 and the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines 2005.
Course - Safeguarding A theory course designed for all care staff that work within the Health and Social Care sector including residential, respite and community or homecare settings. Course - Infection Control (Food Hygiene) This course provides the learner with the knowledge and skills required to control and prevent the transmission of infection and contamination in a care environment and is designed for anyone who works within a healthcare setting. This is of significant importance within Health and Social Care and falls in line with the 2010 Standards.
Course - Meds Awareness This awareness course provides a sound knowledge about the process of administering medication and is suitable for all workers within the Health and Social Care sector. It provides a comprehensive introduction and overview to the protocols and practices involved and expected by CQC. Home Care workers complete UKHCA Medication Training.
Course - Challenging Behaviour Explores the various behaviours of service users which may challenge care staff within their role and duties.
