The trip starts by bus from Stavanger via Sandnes to Byrkjedalstunet, where there will be a short stop, and on through Sirdal. There are breathtaking views of the Lysefjord from the Eagle’s Nest at an altitude of 1,000 metres, where there will be time to stop before the bus tackles the 27 hairpin bends down to Lysebotn. The trip continues with a cruise on the Lysefjord, one of Norway’s most breathtaking fjords. The wild and dramatic 42-kilometre-long fjord cuts a swathe through steep mountains. The Lysefjord is a geological gem formed by glaciers during the Ice Age. Along the way, you will see the famous Pulpit Rock from the fjord and the unique mountain formation Mount Kjerag. The trip also includes magnificent scenic experiences and beautiful waterfalls, such as ’Fantahålå’, old mountain farms, goats and idyllic islands. You can start the trip by taking a train from Oslo to Åndalsnes, a journey that includes one of Norway’s most beautiful and wild stretches of railway, the Raumabanen Railway. En route, you will pass the sheer Trollveggen cliff and the Kylling bridge, the most photographed bridge in Norway. From Åndalsnes, the trip continues by bus to the Art Nouveau city of Ålesund. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Fjord Tours AS is a technical organiser. The terms and conditions are based on the Act relating to package tours and only applies to trips purchased in Norway. You will find a complete overview of the terms and conditions at www.fjordtours.com. Cancellation of trips Trips purchased through Fjord Tours’ customer service line, NSB (Norwegian State Railways) stations and the Tourist Information offices in Bergen, Oslo, Voss and Flåm can be cancelled and refunded pursuant to applicable rules. Partly used tickets will not be refunded. Separate cancellation rules apply to trips including the Hurtigruten coastal express. Trips purchased on the Fjord Tours website cannot be altered or refunded*, unless you have taken out cancellation insurance though your insurance company or through Fjord Tours and you meet the cancellation requirements of the insurance policy. Cancellation insurance can be purchased through Fjord Tours when you purchase round trips and costs NOK 300 per person per trip. Tickets purchased through Fjord Tours’ group office will be refunded pursuant to the rules on the signed order confirmation. Different trips and booking channels have different cancellation rules. *

Separate cancellation rules apply to trips that include activities such as kayaking and RIB boat safaris etc. (see www.fjordtours.com).

Conditions for Fjord Pass® Fjord Pass® is a personal pass and cannot be transferred to others. Fjord Pass® applies to standard rooms in the hotel’s participation periods. When you book and check in, you must always state that you have the Fjord Pass®. A room reservation will be held until 18.00 on the day of arrival. After this time, you lose the right to the room unless otherwise agreed. Cancellation shall take place by 18.00 the day before arrival, at the latest. If the cancellation is not made in time, you will be charged for the first night of the reservation. Payment is made directly to the hotel when you check out. Fjord Tours assume no liability for printing errors. Prices and conditions are subject to change during the period of validity.
