Note from the President– June, 2023

Hello, everyone!

Summer is almost here, but the sunny weather has had us fooled for a while. I hope this year is turning out nicely for you!

There are some important things are happening this month:

The Annual Meeting is on Friday, June 9th at 11:00. Reservations need to be made and the cost is $5.00 per person. Lee’s Famous Recipe will be bringing the food for us. Amy or Chris Coulter will be our speaker. We will be getting a new President!

June 30th is the deadline for getting our Work Reports in for the Education Committees, such as, Cultural Arts, Volunteer Hours, 4-H, Management and Safety, Food & Nutrition. Please, fill those out for us and get them to the Extension Office. If your club needs help, reach out to me, Julie. I can help.

Many of our clubs may be going on day trips to see and eat at a different place. Stay safe.

It has been fun and hard work being your Council President! It has been my pleasure. I know you will support Diana “Dee” Colvin in her position as President. She is a wonderful woman with many skills and a big heart.

Lovingly here for you,

Thought for the Day:

“Dads are most ordinary men turned by love into heroes, adventurers, storytellers and singers of song.” Pam Brown

Roll Call: : In June, we celebrate fathers. Share a favorite Father’s Day memory .
