Can we open the door to happiness in school? Project partners see the way to a happy and for-life-competent person through capacity of managing the inner states and emotions, so our work was based on exploring emotions, getting aware of them in us and others and finding techniques to face them and get capable to cope with life and all the challenges that it brings. To see the beauty of each feeling and to find a treasure in us and people who share with us the world we live in.

To recognize one’s own and other people’s emotional states, through facial expression and body main features and characteristics of any basic emotion: anger, fear, happiness, disgust, sadness, surprise … To create self-awareness, a competence at the base of emotional intelligence that allows us to recognize what we are experiencing Expressing the feelings through facial expression, body language and words To find strategies and tools to control and manage emotions To develop understanding and empathy for one’s self and others Enhancing the identity of each student and their own self-esteem Evaluation of an individual and differences between individuals Recognizing the value of the group Knowing, expressing and adapting one’s emotions : anger, fear, sadness, disgust, joy, surprise, embarrassment … To develop strategies and tools to help others



What is anger? How do I feel it? Where in my body do I feel it? Can anger be uselful? Is it bad to be angry? How can I express anger in the right manner? How do I recognise an angry person?




What color is sadness? Do I usually hide my sadness? Why? How can I help a friend who is sad? Who makes me sad? How can I cope with sadness?




Is there a way to rise our spirits when we feel down?
