SHORT NOTE ABOUT THE WORK (method) W i t h t h i s s e r i e s o f w o r k I a m t r y i n g t o g e t c l o s e r t o a n o - t h o u g h t f o r m o f w o r k i n g . To w o r k d i r e c t l y from the subconcious in a way that is natural and fluid. (Attempting) to exist only in the moment of creation with the materials. Not formally planning the artworks but just experiencing the moment of creation and being present during the process. (theme / context) The broad theme that persists through my work over the past 2 years and more is that of symbols + language and the unconciousness. More so with these specific works there is the expression of freedom, the free flow of energy and the f r e e d o m of i n t e r p r e t a t i o n w h i c h c a n o n l y b e m a n i f e s t e d t h r o u g h v i s u a l m e a n s a n d g o e s b e y o n d t h e c a tegorical and systemized classification of language and symbols. Never take the map for the actual terrain. Tr y n o t t o c o n f u s e t h e s y m b o l w i t h r e a l i t y.
