About Neepo was founded the summer of 2011 by two Norwegian brothers trying their luck in America. Our mission is to influence the snowboard industry by making the best snowboards and hoodies on the market. Now, we are proud to present the 2012/13 Neepo collection. Our boards are made in the USA at the Moment factory, applying the highest standards to manufacturing techniques and raw materials. Our hoodies are made in San Francisco, minutes away from our local surf spot. Neepo has grown into an outlet for talent, for our team riders, artists and engineers. We hope Neepo will inspire you to learn new tricks, travel to new destinations and challenge your limits. It has for us. Live like Neepo.

Manufacturing We are proud to have teamed up with Moment, producing in their factory in Reno, USA. We use domestic suppliers whenever possible and more than 95% of the raw materials put into our boards come from somewhere in the USA. Each and every board is hand-made by people who loves riding and understand the attention and care needed to make great boards. We hold our products to the highest standards and back our snowboards with a 1 year warranty against factory defects.

Technology Neepo was founded with a vision to make light and fun boards that can handle some serious beating. We found that the best way to achieve this is to use excellent raw materials and solid manufacturing techniques. Our boards are developed with a cohesive and rider driven design philosophy, focused on maximizing performance by minimizing complexity. We arrived at some interesting conclusions when designing our boards, and we are certain you will enjoy the fruits of hours of product testing and innovation. The icons represent features that you will find in both our board models, chosen by our engineers to ensure the quality and performance that makes Neepo stand out from its competition.

Aspen The core is the heart of every snowboard. We source solid aspen planks from the best FSC-certified lumbermills in the USA, mills that understand the high standard of top-grade clear wood that needs to go into our snowboard cores. Each Neepo core consists of full-length vertical laminates for consistent flex, CNC machined in-house to the strictest possible tolerances. Forest Stewardship Certification means the wood in our cores comes from forests that are sustainably managed. Aspen keeps the snowboard light and poppy with a lively flex.

Topsheet We use several different types of topsheet materials, enhanced with sublimated graphics — a non-toxic and eco-friendly alternative to silk screening. Each topsheet choice is made to ensure optimal durability and impact resistance while maintaining crisp and bright graphics.

Edge We source our edges from the industry’s most-recognized manufacturer. They arrive from Austria hardened to 48 Rockwell, and we perform additional heat-treating in-house to adjust the hardness and ductility of the steel, ensuring you get the most life out of your snowboard.

Resin With the manufacturer, Moment developed the epoxy resin used in Neepo boards to provide the best properties possible. Customformulated for flexibility, durability, and unmatched bonding strength, our resin is what keeps everything together. Made in the USA.

Base Our extra-thick, US-made DuraSurf sintered 4001 bases take a beating while still staying fast. They are harder and have better wax absorption properties than extruded bases. We use sublimated graphics to eliminate the cracking and peeling common to die-cut bases.

Sidewall Extruded UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) is the sidewall material we use for every board. It is extremely light, durable, and resistant to separation.

Camber Camber underfoot maintains edge pressure when flexed into an arc and provides strength and rebound for most all-mountain and park boards.

Triaxal fiberglass Triaxal Fiberglass creates a strong and predictable flex pattern, and ensures great binding between the layers.

Twin rocker Flat base underfoot means stability, better balance, and continuous edge control. Early rise outside the feet gives the catch-free and loose feeling you’d expect from rocker.

Retrofuture Our true-twin camber board, loaded with carbon stringers for pop and strength. The Retrofuture is built for park and all-mountain riding, featuring a medium flex pattern making the board great for presses and predictable off big kickers. Quick, light and responsive, this high performance board wants you to go big.

Antifuture The Antifuture is our true-twin flat based rocker. The Rocker shape creates a loose and fun ride, while the flat section adds pop and life. The perfect all round board for riders who hit lots of rails and medium jumps. However, it truly excels in the powder, take it out on a deep day, launch some cliffs, pick a line or build a booter, the Antifuture won’t let you down.

Clothing We design and manufacture our collection in California. Cali is our second home and we see no reason why our products should not be made here. Producing domestically allows us to control our supply chain and manage the process from start to finish. It is a great experience to watch a collection come to life. It starts with the idea being drawn on a piece of paper. Then we sew the initial samples, and nothing is ever right. It comes together though, and when an item is perfect we grade for sizing. The textiles are made to our specifications in Los Angeles. They are then shipped to San Francisco where we manufacture, right in the heart of the city. Final product is shipped from our office in the Sunset, where you can find some of the biggest surf on the West Coast. Graphics and artwork are being created by our friends, all part of the surf skate snow scene.

Tall fit Tall fit is featured on all our hoodies, making them perfect for riding. A tall but slim fit makes it easier to combine large size hoodies with regular jeans and snowboard pants.

Deep pockets Functional pockets deep enough for storing items while riding.

Poly cotton blend Our poly/cotton fabric is milled in LA. Cotton makes the textile soft and warm, while poly adds structure and ensures that the fabric does not lose its shape.

Hoodies When we first started our company, we named it Fredut. Our vision was to create a new style of hoodies, perfect for riding. With their tall fit and deep pockets, they were an instant hit and paved the way for what developed to become Neepo Snowboards. For 2012/13 our hoodies are further refined, and stands as a tribute to how it all started.
