What inspires you? It’s everyday life which very often shows small phenomena or even just a small detail or movement of a person. Some of these observations sometimes pop up and can lead to an idea. Your life philosophy? Hunting for the realization of ideas and enjoying my private life. I like to keep it modest and dislike posing or feeling superior. I am really sceptical about capitalism but it still eats us and takes us away.

Which music can’t you live without? The second recording of Glenn Gould playing the Goldberg Variations (J.S. Bach) calms my mind and brings inner peace within seconds. I guess there is no medicine which could work as good and fast for me ;-)

your favorite restaurants? I like the restaurant Flein (1090 - Boltzmanngasse 2) - it’s a small house in a park of a nice city mansion, where they once cooked the food for the owners of the property. Most of the time the food is really good and it has a nice garden with big trees to hide. What IS YOUR favorite café? One of the most famous coffee houses is Café Prückel (1010 Stubenring 24) - it’s always crowded but it has a wonderful original 50s interior which creates a great atmosphere. The pastries are very delicious. What are your favorite places to relax and escape? A bit outside of Vienna (you need a car) you’ll find the Meierei Füllenberg (2532 Heiligenkreuz - Füllenberg 5) in the middle of the forest with nice meadows (Meierei was dairy farm). It’s very simple and modest but really wonderful. It’s a real hidden gem and not easy to find.
