Welcome to the 2020 Fall Activities Guide! CCPS has been busy preparing its 50+ school campuses and the virtual school options for reopening. Things are sure to look a bit different than last year. Rest assured, staff has been working countless hours to open our doors as safely as possible. COVID-19 has turned our world upside down. We look forward to the day we can put down our masks and return to our normal classroom learning environments and outside activities. To help in planning, the CCPS Activities Guide offers parents and families a look at opportunities to keep children busy and on the go. It is a one-stop shop for outof-school happenings. Information on available sports programs, music lessons, tutoring, art classes, and so much more can be found in its pages. The CCPS Activities Guide was developed in partnership with Neapolitan Family Publishing LLC and is distributed in print to elementary students and digitally to the whole district. Its goal is to be all-inclusive, offering local family-friendly businesses and organizations the opportunity to participate, free of charge. Published three times a year, this first edition includes activities for the fall. The second edition, which is distributed in December, will include holiday camps as well as spring activities. In early April, the guide will provide you with information on summer activities and camps. As we work together to fight the spread of COVID-19 while embarking on another fantastic school year, it is our sincere hope that you find the CCPS Activities Guide useful in your planning!
