ASSISTANT COACHES/SUPPORT STAFF Megan Greene - Assistant Coach - Eighth Season - Northern Arizona, 2002 Former NAU standout Megan Greene enters her eighth season as an assistant coach with the program. Greene was a middle blocker for NAU from 1998-2001, and was a member of the 1999 squad that earned NAU’s first-ever berth in the NCAA Tournament after winning the Big Sky Championship as the number four seed. As part of that 1999 team, Greene and her teammates were inducted into the NAU Athletics Hall of Fame during the 2009 football season. Greene was named a Strength & Conditioning Athlete of the Year after her senior season, and finished her career with 776 digs which is still the most digs ever by a middle blocker. In her junior year, NAU tied for first in the Big Sky during the regular season. She earned honorable mention All-Big Sky in 2001, and was also a team captain and NAU’s MVP. Greene

recorded 14 double-doubles in her career, and was a four-time NAU Golden Eagle Scholar Athlete and a three-time Academic All-Big Sky honoree. After graduating from NAU with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, Greene stayed in the Flagstaff area for half a year working in the field at Killip Elementary School as a STARS Instructor and a Homework Club Tutor, and as a substitute teacher for various grades throughout the Flagstaff Unified School District. In August of 2003 Greene took a job as a fourthgrade teacher at Frias Elementary School in Las Vegas, Nev., where she spent two years. While in Las Vegas, Greene spent time coaching the Nevada Juniors volleyball club, working with a team of 18 and under girls in 2003-04, and a team of 15 and under girls in 2004-05.

Mikaela Terry - Assistant Coach - First Season - Coastal Carolina, 2010 Mikaela Terry begins her first year as an assistant coach with the NAU volleyball team. A 2010 graduate of Coastal Carolina University, Terry is in her second year at NAU pursuing a master's degree in multilingual and bilingual education. Terry has a wealth of athletic experience, as she was a three sport athlete in high school competing in volleyball, basketball, and track. Her volleyball coaching experience includes serving as a volunteer coach at Menomonie High School, her alma mater, as well as serving as a coach for the Northern Arizona Juniors 16 and under club team. She played volleyball while living in Ecuador for more than a year following the completing of her undergraduate degree and served as a volunteer assistant for the NAU track and field team last year.

She earned a track scholarship to Coastal Carolina, where she competed in the high jump, pentathlon and heptathlon and graduated from the university Summa Cum Laude with a 4.00 GPA. She was named the Presidential Student Athlete of the Year, earned the Big South Conference George A, Christenberry award signifying her as the top academic and athletic student-athlete in the conference, and was named to the CoSIDA Academic AllDistrict second team. A native of Menomonie, Wisc., Terry served as a student worker last year with NAU assistant athletic director for marketing and special events Rocky Silvestri, assisting with game day activities and events.
