ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE LUMBERJACKS CONTINUE EXCELLENCE IN THE CLASSROOM; EARN AVCA TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD With a 3.32 cumulative team GPA for the 2010-11 school year, the volleyball team earned an AVCA Team Academic Award for the third consecutive year. Eight Lumberjack players earned Big Sky All-Academic selections in 2010 after seven players earned the accolade in 2009. 10 players represented the volleyball team as Golden Eagle Scholar Athlete award recipients. Additionally, outside hitter Lauren Campbell was named to the CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-District Eight First Team in 2010. The sophomore recorded a perfect 4.00 GPA and is majoring in mechanical engineering.
