My favourite childhood memory is...

Two specific memories from my childhood that stay with me.

Spending the summer holidays at my pop’s place in Bawley point, where my family (including aunts, uncles and cousins) would gather to play beach cricket, enjoy beach walks and swims, catch and cook crabs and play card games of 500 until the early hours of the morning.

Every year on my birthday, mum would take the day off work and take me to White City to watch the Sydney International tennis. I loved the proximity to the courts and the action!
