A Busy Season.

First night on the job last winter and Sam Duncan takes the best crash of the evening. Where is this on tape? should have made it into YKMF! He was checking an angle, backed up a little too much, and fell backwards into this window well. I think the camera took some minor bruising, but the man hiself walked away with no harm. He had pleanty of support with all the groupies attending. Mike Cassanova And Colin Wilson held it down for us this evening. Two WI kids destroy some MN turf. Make sure to check out Colin’s opening part in Y o u K n o w M y F u n c t i o n . A video boasting some epic riding here in the Midwest. YKMF reminds me of ‘Here Goes Nothing’, bringing in a heaping mess of solid talent. Raging and having the time of their lives, this vid has more than enough to keep your attention.

One of the best evenings from the winter. Sam had Krister scare the living daylights out of me, it took me at least twenty minutes to recover, but I still have nightmares... It was freezing cold, so we built a nice fire to hang out at. That turned into a much needed brake during all the madness of a winter trip. Danimals and RP were the only ones who could really get the speed needed to hit this wall, but it would never work without the whole crew. So, much thanks to all the guys; Viktor Simco, Krister Ralles, Peter, Danimals, RP, and Sam Fenton(1817!).

Krister Ralles. If you spend a day snowboarding in MN you’ll hear the name. If through a rediculous story of some guy smashing on something in an absurd manner, I wouldn’t be surprised. ‘Yup, that was kritter brick, I’m sure he did brake that.’ Krister acomplished a lifetime goal this season, scoring first part in ‘the Convoy’, Bald-E-Gal Productions yearly film. He has been watching those films since Mike started them eleven years ago. This year, his first turn. Then, Krister could be found at Wild Mountain smasing on every jump, rail, tree, bump, and log they could offer. While learning on a tow rope powered terain park, Krister has always enjoyed finding a unique line, one of which few people would have the courage to follow after. It usually consists of high speed gaps most of us wet our pants a little just looking at. Now, well, not too much has changed. He will still be found smashing on something at Wild Mountain this pre-season. Boosting off small jumps, going at least 20ft further than you. I’m sure another suprisingly good season is in store for us to watch again in another Bald-e-gal film. How far are the limits going to be pushed by Krister this year? Anything like last year’s and were in for another solid video/photo season from Krister Ralles. Pay Attention. -nathaniel.
