Siegfried was a centipede. Siegfried lived in a big house on the beautiful Hawaiian Islands. Siegfried is very friendly. See Siegfried waving, waving, waving, waving‌

But, Siegfried had a big problem. He suffered from anthrophobia. You see, Siegfried was terrified of humans. And, in his house, there was a very, very, very, very, very scary human‌

‌who screamed and screamed whenever Siegfried was around. And, no matter where Siegfried tried to hide like in the garage, ‌

‌the really scary human seemed to find him and make a really loud screaming noise!

9

Siegfried always ended up looking something like this whenever that human screamed! So, Siegfried was just plain terrified.

Every Christmas, Siegfried would ask Santa Centipede for only one gift…a way to make that scary human stop screaming and thonking him on the head.

11

When Christmas Eve came around, Siegfried wrote a special note to Santa Centipede to remind him of his special request. He went to sleep with visions of sugar leafs dancing in his head. 12

When Siegfried woke up Christmas morning, he saw lots of presents under the tree. And, there was no scary human. Best of all, there was a special present from Santa Centipede. 13

With a very special note inside‌

And, the special human doll.

15

From that day forward, Siegfried was no longer afraid of the big human. Instead, he thought of the little doll that he took care of every day and saw the big human in a new way…a not-so-scary way. The End 16
