Chortata Village : Mountain village in Lefkas built in amphitheatric style, 600m altitude in the center of the island. Residents are mainly farmers and sheep farmers. Traditional people of the Greek land. They learned how to respect the environment & their neighbour and that's why they are so pationate for the quality of their products. Aloni : Flat round space usually paved with stones. They were found near mount and villages where mainly west and north winds were blown. After harvesting, the farmers used to collect their grains (wheat, barley, broad beans, lentils, chick peas) in bundles around the threshing places (alonia) so they would totally drained. After that, they used to drop them in the threshing place (aloni) to crush them in when horses or cows pulled the harrow. All of our products are homemade with pure fresh ingredients. For our pies we use our own produced milk, eggs, feta cheese and handmade pastry. For our salads and main dishes we use olive oil. Roosters raised in our farm.
