In 2009 John was voted by the Northern Colorado Business Report as one of the top “40 Professionals Under 40.” In 2012, John was recognized for his service and production and was on the cover of the nationally recognized Top Agent Magazine. He has 18 years of experience in sales, marketing, and hospitality and has earned many more recognitions and awards. John was born and raised in California, attended and graduated Dallas High School in Oregon, and studied Business Management in college. For 6 years John was stationed in 1st Ranger Battalion Hunter Army Airfield, which is located in Savannah, Georgia. Sergeant Simmons served in multiple deployments, was squad leader for combat search and rescue, and represented the entire Ranger Regiment competing in Best Ranger Competition in 1996, 1997, and 1998. While in the military, John met his future wife Ana. John and Ana were married on June 30th, 1997. In July of 1999, Ana and John moved to Northern Colorado where they quickly fell in love with the people, lifestyle, and outdoor recreation. For 7 years John worked for Johnny Carinos Italian Restaurant. Because of his discipline, John was quickly promoted from Executive Chef, to General Manager, to Managing Partner, to Area Director, to Regional Training Director overseeing 35 restaurants in 4 states. On August 3rd, 2007, John and Ana welcomed their first son, Evan. For many years John and Ana struggled and prayed for a second child. Their prayers were answered and they welcomed their second son, Ean, on August 23rd, 2016. John quoted, “Being a Father is a blessing and truly makes everything else seem insignificant.” John sets the example when it comes to balance and quality of life. He offers exceptional customer service while balancing priorities: Faith, Family, Friends, Fun (which to most is work), Finances, and Fitness. Why Real Estate? “Because I love people and I enjoy being a part of their lives! I LOVE what I do!” Why start a new company? “This venture is only possible because of my real estate partner Jesse Laner who is taller than me, smarter than me, younger than me, and better looking than me. In addition, we both love setting the standard and helping others. I have a large extended family which I support. I was born to serve others; I led troops in the military, I led personnel in the restaurant industry, and now Jesse and I have the opportunity to lead and develop other successful real estate agents while serving our buyers and sellers.


ABOUT ALEX

Originally from Colorado I am happy to call myself a native of this beautiful state. I am a proud CU alum (Go Buffs!) graduating with a dual degree in Finance and Accounting. Shortly after graduated my wife and I picked up and moved to Orange County. Here is where I got my first taste at helping families find their perfect home through my work with Irvine Company. There is no better feeling than to see the smile someone gets when they have found a space that truly makes them happy. This is also where we found our puppy Opie! Although California is a beautiful state it never felt quite like home for my wife and I so after a short 1.5 year stint, we moved back to Colorado for good. Prior to beginning my residential real estate career I worked several years in the downtown Denver area for the largest industrial real estate company in the states, working along side a team through two multi billion dollar acquisitions. Here I assisted in merging building acquisitions onto our portfolio in the Cincinnati, Columbus, Houston, Indianapolis and Louisville markets. Although I greatly enjoyed working alongside my colleagues it was the time I spent with our external clients such as vendors, tenants, and property managers that really drew my interest. During that time I found a true passion for real estate but furthermore a passion for connecting with people, building relationships and helping my community accomplish their biggest goals. I believe my background in finance provides me a unique perspective and acumen to effectively help my clients negotiate and traverse numerous transactions. I am excited to help the people in the Northern Colorado community through any and all of their real estate needs whether it be buying your dream home or selling your existing home to move into a brighter future. I will work diligently for each and every client to ensure the process is not only smooth but enjoyable. I am blessed to have married my high school sweetheart Jaylin and we are awaiting the arrival of our first daughter Noa Grace. Outside of C3 I enjoy hiking, basketball, golf, coaching youth sports, and most of all spending time with my wife, puppy (Opie) and daughter.
