DO YOU HAVE AN IDEA FOR THE NEXT GREAT INVENTION? LET US KNOW AND YOU COULD WIN! HERE’S HOW TO ENTER Muslim Civilization brought amazing developments in science and technology to the world. In honor of this legacy, the Muslim Link is proud to partner with the National Geographic Museum in a contest to see which of our school age readers has the next great invention idea. Whether it deals with space, medicine, agriculture, robotics, or any other field of science and technology, tell us your idea in 500 words or less making sure to include how your invention will benefit society, and attach a drawing of your invention if applicable. Four winning submissions will be selected each issue, each receiving four tickets to the National Geographic Museum to see the exhibition, 1001 Inventions: Discover the Golden Age of Muslim Civilization. The top winner in each issue will also receive the companion book to the exhibition. The winning invention ideas will be printed in the Muslim Link. Submissions can be sent via email to editor@muslimlinkpaper.com, or via postal mail to: The Muslim Link, Attn: Next Great Invention Contest, 5301 Edgewood Road, College Park MD 20740. The contest is open to students from kindergarten through high school; students in home schools are also eligible. The contest will run in the following Muslim Link issues: September 21, 2012, October 19, 2012, and November 16, 2012.
