Spanish Projects is the new digital magazine of MUEBLE DE ESPAÑA, the corporate brand of the Spanish furniture industry. ACTIU acaba de finalizar el equipamiento de las nuevas oficinas en México del grupo Nestlé. Las piezas seleccionadas para formar parte de dicho proyecto han sido los asientos de la colección TNKID, un producto diseñado por el colectivo alegreindustrial. Las zonas de trabajo, salas de reuniones y la cafetería de las oficinas han sido amuebladas con bases circulares y mesas de la colección PEANA. Alicante-based ACTIU has completed work on the refurbishment of the newlyopened Mexican offices of Nestlé Group, the largest agri-food company in the world. The light high-tech design of TNKID seating collection, by alegreindustrial designer-team, and the elegance of the PEANA circular bases and tables have been chosen to furnish work spaces, meeting rooms and the spacious cafeteria.
El edificio reformado recientemente de oficinas de la Cámara de Comercio de Alicante ha incluido en su proyecto asientos, mesas e innovadores programas de almacenamiento modular de la firma ACTIU. Fundada en 1968 por Vicente Berbegal, ACTIU se ha convertido en poco tiempo en un destacado fabricante de mueble de oficina, que colabora con diseñadores independientes, tales como alegreindustrial y Josep Lluscá. Started in 1968 by Vicente Berbegal, ACTIU has turned soon into a leading office furniture producer, collaborating with independent designers, including alegreindustrial and Josep Lluscá, and working on several major projects all around the world.

Las colecciones de sillas y mesas de ANDREU WORLD, creadas por algunos de los más prestigiosos diseñadores españoles, tales como Josep Lluscá, Jorge Pensi y Lievore, Altherr y Molina, han sido seleccionadas para amueblar espacios públicos y privados en todo el mundo. Recientemente, la silla MANILA, diseñada por Liévore, Altherr y Molina y sus mesas han sido incorporadas al restaurante VIP de la Terminal 3 del Aeropuerto de Dubai.
Created by some of the most prestigious Spanish designers, such as Ximo Roca, Josep Lluscá, Jorge Pensi and Lievore, Altherr and Molina, ANDREU WORLD’s table and seating collections have been chosen to furnish public and private spaces worldwide. ANDREU WORLD, fundada en 1955 y especializada en mueble para instalaciones de estilo contemporáneo y de diseño, exporta más del 60% de su producción a diferentes países (Nueva Zelanda, Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Singapur, Japón, México, Argentina y Estados Unidos, entre otros). The sensual and yet comfortable structure of RONDA chairs by Lievore Altherr Molina was chosen for restaurant area of Carbon Hotel in Genk, Belgium. The hotel won the prestigious 2008 European Design Award in the category Best Interior Design Restaurant and was selected by Forbes Travellers as one of the world’s 50 best new hotels. ANDREU WORLD, founded in 1955 and specialized in contemporary and design contract furniture, exports more than 60% of its production to different countries: New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Japan, Mexico, Argentina and The United States, among others.

In Hotel Du Saint Roch, in Courchevel (France), everything had to be exclusive, charming and perfectly decorated, in order to ensure clients enchanting atmospheres for a stay of dream. The company was commissioned to work on the decoration of a luxury private house in The Netherlands. The stylish sofas, upholstered occasional tables and chairs and the zebra carpets create a striking effect, bringing a shot of originality and creative energy to all ambiences. A family-owned company based in Valencia, ASCENSION LATORRE was founded in 1976 and since then it has been gaining reputation for the originality and uniqueness of its handmade collections. PAU, a new brand founded in 2002, offers a whole new style of avant-garde luxury sofas and seating.

Diversas líneas de sus colecciones fueron integradas en las habitaciones, restaurante y zonas comunes del palacio.
BECARA was an obvious choice to manage the interior design and decoration aspects of another ancient mansion of the XVII century, recently transformed into a luxurious hotel: the Palacio Iriarte Jauregia Hotel, in Northern Spain. Different ranges of its classic-contemporary collections were used in guest rooms, restaurant and public rooms.

Specialized in avant-garde and contemporary furniture for home and contract spaces, Yecla-based FRAJUMAR has worked on several major projects in Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico and Morocco. It provided a range of avant-garde sofas and armchairs and Art Deco-inspired tables for the fourstar Vincci Málaga Hotel, in the South of Spain.

Fundada en 1967, la compañía ha creado recientemente BELTÁ, una nueva marca para una clientela más sofisticada. La empresa ha inaugurado un showroom en la ciudad de Ulm, Alemania, para acercar sus creaciones al público alemán y centroeuropeo. ONDA y VESU, colecciones creadas por el italiano Diego Granese, están expuestas en Museo del Diseño de Munich.
In Regensburg, Germany, FRAJUMAR worked on the refurbishment of the 52 bedrooms and rest areas of Park Hotel Maximilian, one of Bavaria’s most beautiful private neo-rococo palaces, opened in 1891. Founded in 1967, the company has recently created BELTA, a new brand that meet the demand of the most qualityconscious clients. With its newly opened showroom in Ulm, Germany, they make their collections more accessible for its customers in central Europe. ONDA and VESU, the collections designed by the Italian Diego Granese, are now on display at the Design Museum of Munich.

Family-owned and 12 years old, KOO INTERNATIONAL is known for designing and manufacturing contemporary domestic and contract upholstered furniture. The elegant lines of TOKYO chairs and the vibrant colours of CAMPHA easy chairs have been selected for the guest rooms and lobby of Hotel Andel’s, the largest design hotel in Berlin.

SANCAL has recently supplied customized pieces to the luxurious Santos Porta Fira Hotel, in Barcelona. The company worked closely with architects and interior designers to provide pieces that fit perfectly with the avant-garde style of the hotel, such as the 15 leaf-shaped benches, specifically designed by Toyo Ito Architect Studio for the hotel lobby.

In collaboration with Studi Francesc Rifé, Valencia-based ZIRU has participated in the furnishing of 400 square-meter top-of-the-range restaurant ARROP, in Palacio Marqués de Caro Hotel, a XIX century building in historic centre of Valencia. ARROP chairs and armchairs have been specifically designed for the dining room, while ELYELLA armchairs and GAS stool-tables have been used for the lobby.
