CONNECT Volunteer Sunday: Where every member Sunday, October 12 is a volunteer! Join us next Sunday, October 12, in the Fellowship Hall for our morning worship service as we highlight all the ministries of Mount Harmony. There is a place for God to use each of us to serve! Today we will have ministry surveys available and you are invited to visit the Fellowship Hall and see our ministries on display.

KCAB Annual Meeting The Knox County Association will have their annual meeting on Tuesday, October 21, 5pm, at Callahan Road Baptist. There will be a BBQ dinner and special guests, Bean & Bailey. If you are interested in attending, please see Pastor Martin.

Women’s Events Ladies, joins us on Thursday, October 16, in the Fellowship Hall, for Freezer Friends! Today is the sign-up deadline for the 6pm or 7pm shift (25 women each shift). Cost is $15 plus meats. We will meet in the Welcome Center after the morning service today for more info. Sign-ups are also available today for our Women’s Retreat on November 7-8. We are honored to welcome nationally known author, Candy Wood Lindley, to Mt. Harmony. Cost is $50. Don’t miss these exciting events!

We will be electing the following men for Deacons: Edd Hancock, Jimmy Morton, Isaac Shaffer. We will vote on these men during the morning worship service today.

CHILDREN & STUDENTS Trunk or Treat Join us on Sunday, October 26, for Trunk or Treat as we solve the mystery of the empty cave. We will have a costume contest, chili cookoff, candy, and this year we will meet some extra special Bible heroes! Fill out a volunteer card today if you can help. Harmony Kids Workers Training Harmony Kids Workers, we will meet for training on Sunday, October 12, at 4:30pm.

MUSIC MINISTRY Worship Ministry Focus Group The Music Pastor Search Committee has been conducting focus groups to get feedback on our worship ministry. The next session will be during the October 19 evening worship time for anyone has not been able to previously attend. Christmas Musical This year’s Christmas theme is The Story. You have the opportunity to be involved through choir, orchestra, drama, or behind the scenes as we share The Story December 13-14. See Rocky if you can help.
