January 4, 2014 Reviving Our Hearts Prayer Focus Join us this Saturday, January 10, from 9am-12pm, in the Sanctuary. We will have a time of worship, corporate prayer, and a time of teaching about how to pray the Psalms. Make plans to attend as we seek God’s will for our church for this year.
CONNECT Wednesday Bible Study Now is a great time to join us for Wednesday morning Bible study. Everyone is welcome as we study the book of 1 John. We meet at 10:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Make plans to stay for lunch afterward. Committee Training Meeting All committee leaders and members need to meet in the Sanctuary on Sunday, February 11, at 6pm for training. Please mark your calendars!
Follow One Follow One, our annual youth weekend, is quickly approaching on February 20-22. If you are interested in helping by being a host home, donating or serving food, providing transportation, or being a greeter for the Saturday night worship service, please see Greg or Lance. We will also have a time of prayer before the weekend and appreciate your prayers as we plan for this life-changing time for our students.
Remember, we will resume our regular Wednesday activities this week (1/7). Lottie Moon Offering Church, we have almost reached our goal of $5000.00 for the Lottie Moon offering! We have received $4472.00 to date. The Lottie Moon offering goes directly to the support of our Southern Baptist missionaries. Join us as we partner in sharing the Gospel to all nations!
CHILDREN & STUDENTS Middle & High School Camps Students, sign up today for 2015 summer camp! High Schoolers will be going to Crossroads Camp June 11-15. Middle Schoolers will be going to Centrifuge at Union University June 21-26. A deposit of $100 is due for either camp by February 1. Please see Greg or Lance for more details and to reserve your spot! Harmony Kids Kids ages 3 years through 5th grade are invited to join us this Wednesday, January 7, as we begin this month’s study on Commitment. We will be learning about four faith skills: Hearing, Praying, Talking, and Living. We have a great time at Harmony Kids each week! Invite someone new to share in this exciting time with us!
