Led by the program’s all-time winningest coach, Keith Guttin, and future Major Leaguers Shaun Marcum and Brad Ziegler, the Bears captured the MVC regular-season crown and inished the campaign with a 40-26 overall record.

Under the guidance of 18th 18th-year year head coach Melissa Stokes, the Missouri State volleyball team has continued a tradition of excellence that has made the Bears one of the winningest programs in all of Division I. The Bears have appeared in six of the last eight NCAA Tournaments, claiming MVC Tournament titles in 2005 and 2008 (above).
