Hayden Sander 5-10 • Sophomore • Midfielder Wellington, New Zealand • Onslow College

At Missouri State: Sander continues to learn and improve during his time on campus. The second-year athlete from New Zealand will be a candidate to log meaningful minutes at midfielder this season. 2011: Sander saw action on the pitch in five of Missouri State’s 19 contests as a true freshman. He appeared in the first three matches against Belmont, Tulsa and Memphis and then didn’t see playing time until the Bears’ 6-1 win over Oral Roberts. He registered a season-high 26 minutes in the team’s 5-1 victory against UMKC. In limited playing time, Sander finished the season without scoring or dishing out an assist. Background: Sander was a four-year starer at Onslow College in Wellington, New Zealand, winning the Capital Championship his junior year. Sander served as captain for Onslow College and was selected as the team MVP in 2010. He started all 25 matches and scored eight goals and 11 assists for the Haydos. During his junior season, he again started all 25 matches while putting six into the net and dishing out 11 assists.

Personal: Hayden Edward Sander is the son of Andrew and Carol Sander. He was born January 17, 1992 in Wellington, New Zealand. Sander is currently undecided on a major.
