an 18-point, 9-rebound effort to help lead MSU to a six-point victory over Creighton (Feb. 5)...Scored 16 points and grabbed 10 boards in MSU’s 87-78 win over Drake (Feb. 7); picked up her fourth MVC Newcomer of the Week award on Feb. 8...Led MSU with 17 points at Wichita State (Feb. 20) to finish in double figures for the sixth time in seven games...Knocked down a career-best eight field goals en route to an 18-point afternoon in MSU’s 83-60 win over Evansville (Feb. 28) that kicked-off a string of six straight 15+ point games...Scored a career-high 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds March 4 at UNI to help the Lady Bears post their 20th win of the season...Recorded four consecutive double-doubles, March 4-21; totaled 15 points and 12 boards at Bradley (March 6), followed by an 18-point, 10-rebound effort against Wichita State (March 12) in the opening round of the State Farm MVC Tournament; then scored 15 points by knocking down 11-of 15 free throw tries to go along with 13 rebounds in the Lady Bears’ WNIT opener against Oral Roberts (March 19)...After a 17-point effort against Samford (March 21) in the second round of the WNIT, Shorter capped her debut season with another double, tallying 12 points and 10 caroms against Illinois in a 65-53 setback to end the year with seven straight double-digit scoring performances (Feb. 28-March 25).
