The Centennial Project Your Seat Awaits You

What’s in a name? Sponsoring a seat in Neidorff-Karpati Hall is a oncein-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate your family or business; honor a mentor or teacher; or memorialize a loved one. You will also be providing meaningful support to the renovations of the hall – an integral part of MSM’s Centennial Project. Supporting the Centennial Project renovations of Neidorff-Karpati Hall (formerly Borden Auditorium) is a generous act of philanthropy that creates a lasting legacy in the most public spot on campus. We invite you to “take your seat” in Neidorff-Karpati Hall and become a permanent part of the newly renovated hall by making a tax-deductible contribution.

In recognition of your support, a plaque bearing your name or that of the person you choose to honor will grace your seat in the hall. Your dedication will also be featured in programs during the opening year of Neidorff-Karpati Hall and on a special dedication page on our website.

Your support set to music! MSM’s milestone Centennial Project will support the renovation of our principal performance space, Neidorff-Karpati Hall; the opening of a grand new campus entrance on Claremont Avenue; and an expansion of what will be the main entryway and lobby. The hall and new entrance will now match in quality the immensely talented student artists who come from the world over to study at MSM, while elevating the experience for all campus visitors. The project will culminate in a Fall 2018 opening that will launch MSM’s 100th-anniversary celebrations. Since Janet Schenk’s founding gift 100 years ago, MSM’s story has been shaped by the vision of faculty, students, and benefactors who recognize that learning has a transformative impact on individuals, communities, and society. Generous Board members and supporters who responded to our initial Centennial Project fundraising appeal have ensured a robust beginning to these vital renovations. Now we need your vision and generosity to enable us to reach our final fundraising goal.
