MRH podcast that’s associated with each issue of MRH.

Our Show Format We coordinate each MRH podcast to come out shortly after an issue of the magazine is released, and we aim to have guests on the show that enhance and expand on what’s in that issue of the eZine.

Most typically, we’re doing a 30 minute interview with the modeler who is our cover story for the issue, delving into more details on what they’re doing. As Model Railroad Hobbyist, it’s our belief that the “stuff” of the hobby by itself does not represent the complete story. We feel the most interesting part of the hobby is what the modeler is doing with the “stuff”.

ere at Model Railroad Hobbyist, our passion is to give you, our fellow model railroaders, lots of useful free model railroading media via the internet. Our new podcast is one more example of this passion.

A Podcast? The MRH podcast is a free “internet radio program” for model railroading. Most people use iTunes and download the audio podcast onto a mobile i-device like an iPod, iPhone, or iPad. The name “podcast” suggests you need an iPod to listen to it – but that’s not so. Anything that can play .mp3 audio files will work – any MP3 player or even your computer that you use to read MRH can also download and play a podcast. Podcasting veteran Ryan Andersen has teamed up with model railroader Paul Gillette and the two co-host the
