e are delighted to welcome MPH alumna Carrie Manolakos to this evening’s event. Carrie’s Broadway credits include the lead role of Sophie in Mamma Mia! and national tours in Wicked (Elphaba Standby) and Mamma Mia (Sophie). Her film soundtracks and recordings include: The Greatest Showman, Incredibles 2, Fosse/Verdon (upcoming), Rise, Dear Evan Hansen, 2018 Oscars, Red Nose Day (Peter Dinklage, Game of Thrones, Coldplay). Carrie has been joined onstage by guest artists Phish at Madison Square Garden and Hugh Jackman at the Metropolitan Opera House. Carrie most recently portrayed Irena Slender in the first incarnation of Irena - a new musical directed by Jonah Platt, written by Kait Kerrigan and Megan Cavallari. Carrie was #44 on the pop iTunes Charts with her debut album ‘Echo’ and was voted into Elle Magazine’s 30 under 30 Essential Names to Know. She garnered major international and celebrity recognition for her viral cover of Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ with write-ups in The New Yorker, Gawker, Daily Beast, MSNnow, Huffington Post, and Entertainment Weekly, among others. It would be listed as #2 on MSN’s “15 Covers that Transcend the Original Hits,” just after Johnny Cash. It placed her in good company with Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Jimmy Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Otis Redding, Weezer, The Fugees, Ike and Tina Turner, Mark Ronson, and Amy Winehouse. What is the Paddle Raise? The Paddle Raise is a fast and fun way to raise money as part of our fundraiser. Before we begin this evening, there are a few things you should know…

Everyone can participate! The auctioneer will call out several different donation levels- just choose the one that is right for you!

When you hear the dollar amount that suits you, just raise your paddle and one of our volunteers will record your contribution.
•
If you’re not comfortable raising your paddle but would like to make a monetary donation, you may do so at check-out at the end of the evening.

All proceeds from tonight’s Paddle Raise will benefit the Faculty Development fund. Your contributions directly supports our teachers.
